10 Golden Rules
10 Golden rules to make our project sustainable
Each school write in golden letters
in its local educational plan that the high school will use different ways (lessons, outdoor class, projects…)
to improve the awareness of sustainable development
for students.
ESC-deputies will be elected in each school
; those students are responsible for communication with the direction of the school towards sustainable politics of the school. Students will be urged to join the ESC Facebook group of the project which will the survive and expand after the official end of the project
To create in each school a
sustainable development committee
with ESC-deputies, teachers, parents and technical agent. This committee will think about sustainable development politics at school: meetings must be done twice a year, in September to plan the projects of the 1 year to come and in June to review the achievement.
Each high school should make a
diagnosis about energy, water, paper and power consumption, waste, food at school, students and teachers transports
…. This diagnosis will help the committee to improve the situation from this starting point.
Urge each high school to set up strong and long term bond with
stakeholders involved in sustainable development
.
We will have each year a “
Sustainable Education Day
”, which will involve the largest number of students.
Each school must have on the
welcoming page of its website the link to the twinspace / faceboo
k of our project.
Each school will have an
Erasmus corner
to give information about each European project, partnership…. to all members of each school.
Urge teachers to follow
sustainable development training courses
(local, MOOC …) to stay informed to the news in this issue and to help them to get efficient method to teach sustainable development.
Teachers
use interactive methods and methods centred on students using ICT tools
(App, software….) which could lead to individual improvement thanks to personal coaching.
