PROJECT RESULTS AND COMMON ACTIVITIES

  • Two different kind of results could be expected from a Project of this nature: tangible and intangible. Among the second ones we expect:

    • The acquisition of healthy leisure time habits among young people.
    • The involvement of students in any cultural manifestation, even street or alternative culture.
    • The involvement of students in social groups to serve the community, NGOs, etc. 
    • The generation of enough enriching leisure alternatives by offering a wide range of options within our three topics: 

    1. • Physical activity and use and enjoyment of the natural environment.
    2. • Culture: Approach to any cultural or artistic manifestation.
    3. • Active citizenship: volunteering.

    • The improvement of English knowledge by sharing activities and results to partners.
    • The improvement of ICT skills by researching information and presenting results.
    • The improvement of cooperation skills by using teams to fulfill the given tasks. In project meetings, the teams should be multinational.
    • A better cooperation between different departments within the school and with partners schools.
    • The improvement of English knowledge for all participants.
    • Teachers will be able to compare school systems and share examples of good practice from each country.

     

    Regarding the tangible results, this is our progress:

    A1. - Design and edition of an online questionnaire about free time habits among our students.


    A2. - Design and print of brochures to disseminate the objectives of the Project among our communities in each of our national languages.

     
    A3. - Filling and evaluation of the online questionnaires. 


    A4. - Logo contest.


    A5. - ELLEY Passport contest. Designing of the Passport in which the activities will be stamped.


    A6. - Setting of national blogs. ​(Visit the page of links to national blogs).
    A7. - Setting the diary of the Project inside the twinspace. 
    A8. - Setting up of a support committee in each school: A group of students will give support to any new student or students with problems.

    A9. - Beginning the writing and illustration of the “Travelling Book”. The first chapter will be written in the school that first host a transnational meeting and then it will travel to each of the schools where it should be completed. Due to several organization problems, the travelling book was finished in Gran Canaria through two different workshops, in which students worked in international groups either drawing or writing the chapters.
