The title of the LTTA was "Impacts of food systems on climate change - Impacts of climate change on food security and nutrition". This LTTA was held online to WebEx platform on 25-27/10/2021.
Unfortunately, although we planned this mobility all together, our partners from France and Austria were not able to participate during this period as they were on holidays. Eventually, due to the extreme weather conditions that hit Sicily at that time, neither our Italian partners could participate. All tasks remained as these were -in 6 teams- and were achieved by Turkish (Yenimahalle Şehit Ali Tonga Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi), Greek (EK Nafpaktou), and Serbian(Hemijsko-prehrambena tehnološka škola).
The first day of the meeting which was held on the 25th of October, the coordinator of the Turkish team Mrs. Kübra Ersan started with the opening speech and presenting the programme of the virtual mobility.

Meanwhile, the headmistress of the hosting school, Mrs. Şengül Doğan welcomed all the participants and expressed the honor of hosting them.
Then a webinar entitled "Holistic Approach to Prevent Food Waste" was given by Mrs K. Orak.

The topics that were explored in mixed teams to the breakout sessions were:
-Food processes
-The impact of food processes on climate change
-Sustainable diets
-The concept of zero waste – general info, cookbook
-Ways to reduce food waste – general info, examples in their countries
-Circular economy: Art out of food waste – general info, padlet with techniques/examples or/and photo collages

It's in our plans to organize a 3-days mobility meeting face to face,too so this mobility to be a blended one..
The Evaluation of Our Virtual Mobility Meeting in Kırıkkale

The title of the LTTA was "Impacts of food systems on climate change - Impacts of climate change on food security and nutrition". This LTTA was held on the 6th-9th of May face to face (we had online one before on 25-27/10/2021). All partners including Greece, France, Serbia and Italy could attend, but unfortunately Austria couldn't.

On the 6th of May (1st day of programme), we visited the university of Kırıkkale, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Asst. Prof. Biriz ÇAKIR,PhD, RD gave us seminar on Food Safety:

As we have already done the tasks related to title of the mobiliy in our virtual meeting, the students and teachers had chance to visit entrprises such as natural caves for lemon and potatoes storage, wine factories, local salt producing factory, and other excursions about culture and history of Kırıkkale, nearby towns and Cappodocia.
