Impact of Active Green Alliance Project´s Results in the Community

  • The extension of the impact to other members of our community has been one of the Project`s priorities from the beginning. Active Green Alliance Project`s objectives have been envisaged to create impact not only in our Schools and Educational Communities but to focus on a wider audience in the search to obtain an all inclusive insight and awareness projection on Environmental Issues. Nowadays to cater for a more general group of population in which ethnic minorities, emigrants and immigrants as well as students with special needs are included, is a must.

All of our 6 schools included in our project have had to work on integration measures to be able to meet the needs of these groups of students. Students in risk of social exclusion, have been specially integrated projecting their social, communicative and digital competencies.

Our target audiences have been our Schools, our families, our municipalities, and also wider audiences through our School webs. ETwinning platform work, has allowed us to follow the strartegy of the European Commission to promote School development and excellent teaching for a great start in life, where investing in young people is a top priority for Europe. To increase cooperation between schools tocul turally enrich target groups, boost students motivation towards the development of their key competences, have been priorities in the designing of our common goals activities and gatherings. A good sample of these goals can be seen in the gathering of our 6 schools at the event "Andalusian green living".

We have targeted to share our work on each school`s web, our International Web: http://greenalliance.club/, social media, FB: https://www.facebook.com/Green-Alliance-Erasmus-Project-2141662452753388

After school shut down situation due to COVID pandemia, Active Green Alliance team of coordinators in the 6 schools had to readapt our projects final periods for project closure. After meetings, we agreed to stimulate activities in our schools through our digital platforms with our students. We worked on activities such as “my window” creations of infographics videos of artistic photographies and interesting educational materials have been produced.

    HIGHLIGHTING AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT:

It would be necessary to promote training in working dynamics in order to strengthen the environmental education promoted by these working groups, as well as participation in learning communities, innovative methodologies and collaborative techniques, especially in view of the new digital educational scenario.
