IES CERRO DEL VIENTO BENALMÁDENA 

Our high school is located in Benalmádena, a tourist city in the middle of  La Costa del Sol, therefore the local economy of the region is strongly influenced by tourism and foreign residents. It is a bilingual School. We have approximately 1150 student enrolled. Students can study Secondary Education, Bachillerato and several options of Vocational Training in the families of Administration and Sanitary assistance.

The School was granted with the  ECHE letter in 2016, and in 2018/19  with its first mobility project K103.  IES Cerro del Viento has got Student Mobility for Traineeships and a Staff mobility for training. These mobilities and projects are part of our education project as a priority strategy with a sense  of continuity and expanding our internationalization policy and constant improvement. The main goal of these motilities is to complete and improve our students´ professional, personal and social skills and enhance their English level to increase their employment opportunities.

The Erasmus+ program contributes to the objectives of our school to modernize and internationalize our Institute, increasing our contact with foreign countries, knowing the European labour market and improving the prestige of our high school and our teachings through innovation and development of European dimension. Mobilities are directed to Vocational Training students at high level, VET cycle in Administration and Finance.

IES Cerro del viento has been an active  member of the eTwinning platform for some years and is currently working on 3 projects.
