Project Mobility to Denmark

  • The second project mobility was hosted by Arden Skole. Pupils and staff from Shoscombe and St Julian's travelled together to meet all our partner schools. For some of us it was our first flight. At the airport we had a fantastic welcome from our hosts who were so friendly kind and caring.

When we got to school on the first morning we were met by everybody wearing Erasmus Logo T Shirts. We were each given a T shirt too! We all enjoyed sharing our presentations on Recycling in Our Local Schools

During the mobility we found out about many aspects of recycling and the use of plastics.

We found out albout the local history of making salt when we visited a salt mine. We even made our own salt and flavoured popcorn with it.

We also renjoyed learning about Danish culture and developing mutual respect for each other.

We had a great day in forest school, whittling wood, cooking dampers over fires, rappeling over water and making environmental art, and rappeling over water.

We learnt about caring for our environment and went pond dipping in a local wood.

It was an amazing experience that our children say they will remember forever. Thank you Arden School and Helle Randers for all your work in making our visit so successful.

And thank you to our wonderful host families
