Pupils and staff from St Julian's primary school, Wellow had a wondeful time in Bordeaux. We learnt about recycling and upcycling and made presentations to each other. Thank you to all of our French colleagues and friends for making this such a memorable learning experience.

We loved exploring the French school and making new friends.

At the creative recycling centre we were amazed at the upcycling of furniture and other unwanted waste materials.

Shoscombe pupils enjoyed making the little bags using old advertising banners and lycra. 

We visited the recycling centre and found out about processes involved in dealing with waste. 

At the Terre D'Oiseaux we all enjoyed finding about about the birds and other wildlife. 

And also learnt how to make musical instruments with bamboo.
