For Christmas, we made pom poms as ornaments for the Christmas tree.
To do so, we collected scraps of fabric from a Bouscat company that makes leotards for gymnasts and we used the cardboard of boxes of school supplies.

We cut thin strips of fabric.
We cut circles in the cardboard, then we drew a small circle inside the large circle and cut it out.

We needed two circles hollowed out by pompom. We held the two circles together and wrapped the strips of fabric through the notch and around evenly around the sides of the circle.

We wrapped the strips until the circle in the middle was filled in. We cut the strips between the two circles all the way around.

We cut a length of string and tie a tight knot around the middle of the pom-pom.

We brought the yarn around the other side and
tied another.
