Evaluation

  • Slovenia:

    Positive:

We carried out the planned activities. We're happy because we did more than innitially thought we would have. The children learnt a lot about St Martin's celebrations in the past. We're especially happy that they had two workshops with Mrs Darinka Sirk, where they learnt how to make "tercenti" and "martinci" - a custom that dies out after WW1 and that we now hope our students will carry on.

We actively involved a group of 8-graders.

    Negative:

Not all of our students saw what the Portuguese and Polish students did as they don't have TwinSpace access so maybe it'd be a good idea to make them members so that they can check their peers' work on their own.

The students seem to havelost motivation in joining our meeting regularly!

    Portugal:

    Positive:

We carried out the planned activities. Slovenia Day involved the 10th grade and some students who visited Slovenia in October. Diogo explained the process of tasting olive oil to his colleagues. Everybody was engaged in the activity.

    Negative:

It is difficult to schedule the activities because of the different timetable of our students.

    Poland

    POSITIVE

The activities were carried out as planned. The Slovenian day was a success with all the school students taking part in it, as we organised the students in 4 groups. Not only did they listen to their friends who visited Slovenia but had a chance to try Frtajla, which their older friends prepared especially for this day, they found out how to make 'svitek' and they all learned traditional Slovenian dance.

Younger students had many questions that were answered by the students who visited Goriska Brda, which we believe made them interested not only in the project but also in the country which they first mistook with Slovakia.

    NEGATIVE

We did not take into account that all teh students would want to try Frtajla. (omlet) and there was not enough. The solution in the future will be to share the recipe and ask all the Erasmus students (not only those who go to a mobility) to prepare some food so that everyone can have a go at it.
