Students and teachers can meet as a group. Students are not required to have their own devices. It is enough if the teachers project the Zoom session on a large screen.

The project coordinator first reminds all the participants about the netiquette:

Students are then invited to breakout rooms where the teachers involve them in 4 ice-breaking activities.
The suggested activities are found here:

From here on, each group works at its own pace and takes breaks whenever found suitable. The activities should be done by 13.00 CET when we meet on Zoom again.
3. What do I know about Slovenia?
a) Jamboards
Students prom Poland and create 5 common Jamboards abou Slovenia, where they gather as much information as possible. They consult Slovenian students, who help with relevant information if needed. The Slovenian students can be contacted via Zoom or via the common WhatApp group that has been created for the needs of the project.

b) Quiz
When the Jamborads are done, students test their knowlede about Slovenia by doing an engaging quiz. Depending on the number of computers/tablets available, they can do it individually or as a group. If they are stuck, they can contact the Slovenian students who wait online. The Slovenian students cannot provide answers but can only hint at them.
Students must make sure to watch all the videos and remember all the information that is found in the quiz. We recommend taking photos of the info ;) Also, they are required to mark the time they needed to take the quiz.

Time permitting, students can work on an activity which is a sort of follow-up of the quiz:

c) Videos
Students watch a video about a Slovenian who spent some time in Portugal. Within their group, they start a discussion about what they think makes all the three nations similar and what different. They also talk about what they would like to know about the other two countries and send questions via WhatsApp to the target group to find the answers.

Back-up activity: Students work in trasnational groups to make a comparison of the 3 countries based on topics of their choice (e.g. cost of an ice-cream scoop).
d) Virtual visit to the town of Idrija
All the students watch two short videos about Idrija (videos 2 and 4). Idrija is a meeting point for all the three countries. The Ss have to find out why and write their ideas on Ideaboardz: https://ideaboardz.com/for/Idrija/3882174

Students try to remember as much info as possible. They can watch the videos several times. They also read relevant information on the topic related to Madeira and Poland that was uploaded to the project’s TwinSpace over the course of the project.
After watching, they check a glossary of key words that will help them with the evaluation (Kahoot): https://www.thinglink.com/scene/1455207410133106689
