P15: 3rd Video conference "Where does my food come from?" / November 2019

    Italian Team got the most correct answers during the video conference! Congratulations!

    A Journalist of our local TV came and spent the whole time with the Italian Team at school and prepared an interesting TV service about our videoconference, that we share with all of you.

    Here below you can see the TV service. It's in our minority language "Cimbro" with Italian subtitles.

    Before the videoconference, in order to prepare it every partner wrote here 3 questions about the origin of the food we eat at school or at home. Every partner school read the questions of the others and discussed during the weeks before the video conference about the possible answer.

    During the video conference we could check  if our answers were right or not! Here below you can see the answers each partner gave to each question.

     

    TEAM AUSTRIA'S QUESTIONS

    1) How many students (of all our 180 students) buy regional products (farm shop, farmers‘ market, local butcher, ...)?

    We think that all 180 students.

    Team Italy's answer

    In our opinion there are 57% of the students who eat regional products.

    Team Spain's answer

    Statistics tell that 142 students do that

    2) How many students (of all our 180 students) have a vegetable garden at home and cook their own vegetables?

    We think that 90 students.

    120 students out of 180 have a vegetable garden and cook their own vegetables.

    Tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers

    Team Italy's answer

    The vegetables that come from Spain are: oranges, zucchini and cucumbers.

    The ham "Jamòn serrano" is obtained by the thigh of the pig breeeded in the Dehesa and in the Southern regions of Extremadura and Andalusia.
