Selection of the students who will participate to the mobilities

Here below you can also find the criteria we are following to select the students who participate to the mobilities:

1. Talks with the students about who would like to come and why they might be qualified for the trip

2. Talks with the class teachers about who is reliable and self-dependent enough to stay alone with a host family (only for the mobility to SPAIN);

3. Talks with the English teachers about whose English is advanced enough to allow them to participate in every conversation with students, teachers and families;

4. Talks with the principal about the nominations to hear his opinion and get his approval;

5. Talks with the parents to inform them about our decision, to hear about their attitude towards the proposed week with the partner school and to ask for a written statement authorizing the teachers to bring their child abroad;

We only asked students in our last form because this year is their last to have the chance to work with the project. All our teacher agree on the approach that having the great opportunity to go abroad should be offered to students who have "earned" this chance by working hard throughout the year in all subjects and who should be granted this kind of award.
