From January 26 to February 1, our Spanish colleague JOSE DAVID RIOS LESTA stayed at the NMS Haiming/Austria for a very intensive job-shadowing week. Besides presenting his school by a video his students had prepared, discussing the differences between our schools, participating in English and sports lessons, giving basktetball training, teaching a little Spanish, learning some German words and phrases and watching our team-teaching system, Jose could also try out some new kinds of sports like our Tyrolean curling, snowshoe walking and tobogganing in fresh snow. Not only were all nine classes of our middle school happy to welcome Jose in their lessons, but also could our primary students in the neighbouring villages enjoy Jose's teaching units and show their own language abilities. It was a great week for everybody involved - MUCHAS GRACIAS, JOSE!
