Activities and products intended to be carried out

  • Over the two years of the project we have planned to carry out the following activities that the schools will implement in agreement but each one in their own school. This is the original plan of our Erasmus+ Project. After the Pandemic, we asked to postpone the deadline of the project and had to change some of the activities from March 2020 till December 2020.

    School year 2018-2019

C5 First coordinators' meeting  7th-12th October 2018 in Estonia

    P1: Mystery Skype

    October 2018

Let's find out where exactly the partner schools are, playing Mystery Skype: in a videoconference one school asks the other questions to be able to locate and learn more about the partner school (English geography Ralley). The students only know the nation of the partner schools but have not received other information from the teachers; they will have to find out where the partenrs schools are like a treasure hunt. Then, after the videoconference, each school collects the information gathered and presents it in a wallpaper for their school. After the videoconference, the partner schools will also present themselves by publishing photos, videos and information on the TwinSpace.

    P2: Online voting November 2018

Students propose activities related to the topics of the project, which they would like to realize. Each school starts with a brainstorming and arrives at a list of 2 proposals to propose to the other schools. We will proceed to an online voting with "www.mentimeter.com" to choose the 2 most interesting proposals; then the voting result is shared on the eTwinning platform.

    P3: Logo Competition

    November 2018 - January 2019

Each school prepares three proposals for the logo of the project. After having reflected in plenum on which ones could be the significant elements of the project and have collected the ideas of all, the students will elaborate alone or in a group a logo that can become the official logo of the project. The logo will be voted by the students themselves in Spain during the first mobility of the students. Each delegation will have 3 votes available and can therefore vote three among all the proposals that will be put on the table. The logo that gets the most votes will become the official logo of the project and will be published, printed and resumed on every occasion and on any material produced from then on.

P4: First Skype Conference: “Regional and National Sports”

    December 2018

Students will look for information about the subject of the Skype Conference. Then they will prepare materials on the typical sports of their country and of their region. During the first Skype video conference, each school presents the results of its research to the partner schools. The materials produced will then be published online on the schools' homepages and on the TwinSpace.

The coordinator school will prepare an online quiz with about 20 questions (5 about each country), which will verify how much the kids have learned about the national and regional sports of the partner schools, using for example an App like www.quizziz.com. The first game will be done at school all together online (the students of each school will play together) ; all students will then be able to access the quiz link via the Twinspace and play again individually.

P5: We meet the "disability" in sport

Each delegation brings the materials prepared for the first video conference in which the most characteristic sports of their country/region were presented and together the delegations build a collage to hang in the host school. Before hanging the Wallpaper, each country must present in plenum their work to all groups. The students had already taken part in the skype conference and in the online quiz about the sports of other nations. There will be 4 mixed-nationality groups and each group must summarize the most significant sport characteristics of a partner country in particular. In the group there will be an expert student of the country, who will have the task of coordinating foreign students in preparing the presentation in plenum for the other 4 groups.

    February 2019

In the months leading up to the first mobility with students in Spain, each school will organize meetings, interviews and occasions to deal with the issues of Fair Play and the inclusion of people with disabilities in sports with the students. In Spain, mixed groups of students from different countries will work together to choose a message to be conveyed on Fair Play, using the technological tool they prefer and which will allow them to use their imagination and creativity.
