Mystery Stories!

  • These stories were created within the framework of our eTwinning project. The Italian and Greek students collaborated in mixed teams and wrote their own stories incorporating elements from the material and tasks they engaged in throughout the year. Mathematics, history, architecture and English were brought together along with the students' imagination and creativity. The students collaborated and wrote their stories using Google Docs which enabled them to work idependently and at the same time co-operate and negoatiate with their fellow-authors. This task helped the students to consolidate the knowledge they had acquired through the other activities and work in a cross-curricular project using the English language for an authentic purpose (writing a story), with a real-life audience (the stories are published) and in a way that allowed them to exxpress themselves freely and creatively (the only restriction being that they had to use Mathematical elements they had worked on at some point in their stories).
