About our kindergarten
Grădinița cu Program Prelungit nr. 8 is located in Romania, in Brăila. Braila is located in the eastern part of the country, 200 km northeast of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The town is located on the left bank of the Danube.
The dominant values that characterize our kindergarten are: responsibility, cooperation, generosity, teamwork, trust and respect towards the child and his / her family, devotion, freedom of expression, receptivity and creativity in a stimulating, cooperative environment.
Kindergarten belongs to children, staff and parents.
Starting September 2017, Grădinița cu Program Prelungit nr. 8 consists of the base and 2 structures.
Grădinița cu Program Prelungit nr. 8 addresses children aged 3 to 6 and promotes an education in which the quality, diversity of the educational act is in harmony with the needs and needs of the parents, the local community, and the society.
In our kindergarten there are 14 classes. In each class there are a maximum number of 25 children who come to learn, experience and play in our kindergarten.
We have 7 short program groups (8.00 to 13.00) and prolonged program groups (8.00 to 18.00). Teachers work in 2 shifts, morming or afternoon.In every classroom there is 1 teacher.
Teaching, auxiliary and administrative teaching staff form a family, alongside parents, active partners in educational processes and children.
Children benefit from a clean and orderly environment in the group room.
Our personell conisists of 38 employees (21 teachers, 1 secretary, 1 accountant, 1 administrator, 4 chefs, 2 nurses, 1 speech therapist, 6 caretakers of children, 1 headmaster).
The educational approach in our kindergarten is aimed at:
- Ensure access to a complex and balanced education for each child, regardless of the social and material condition, ethnic or religious affiliation.
- To identify and satisfy the needs of continuous training, to create a favorable environment for the development of these activities, to support the changes in education and to develop the skills necessary to introduce the "new" into the educational act.
- Promote positive experiences in the unit as models of good practice.
- Support the kindergarten-school-community partnership and all the activities by which parents become active and responsible partners in educating their own children.
- To focus the educational approach on the expectations of direct and indirect beneficiaries.
