Cenap Sahabettin Ilkokulu (CSI) is located in Turkey, in İstanbul in Kadıkoy District. It is named after the great writer and poet Cenab Sahabettin. 

Our school was built in 1969 as a Public  Primary School. There is 29 classes, 703 students -which 75 of are in kindergarden- and 40 teachers. The main language is Turkish and we are following the Ministry of Education's cirriculum. Cenap Sahabettin has the membership of 'Nutrition Friendly School Project' which we got by fulfilling the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education's regulations and standarts.  In additionally to the governmental cirriculum we are organizing some events every morning right before we start our classes in order to bring our students in healthy life habits like Zumba, climbing wall.. etc. 

the main classes of our school are; Social Sciences, Maths, English Language, Music, Teology, Sports. we have Nurse to follow the students who has chronical diseases and Consultation and Psyhcological Support Unit to identify the children who are in need of support, and to train the families about Children Psychology.  We created a classroom for the gifted children, in this classroom each student is taking classes about her/his own talent. 

The difference between the other public schools and CSI, our approach is to motivate the students and create the understanding that the school is not only a didactical but also a place which they can socialize, improve their skills and imagination, express their capabilities. with this approach we organized 'kids clubs' in our school.
