    LOCAL HOLIDAYS AND IMPORTANTS DATES

    Baza:

Cascamorras is celebrated on 6th September: This is one of the most important days in Baza. This day, people from Baza try to avoid people from Guadix take their virgin

    2. 8th September: Mass and procession in honor of the Piedad Virgin.

    3. “¡Baza qué!” 4th December: This is the day when the Catholic Monarchs came to Baza. People meet in the mayor square and shout all together: ¡Baza, qué!

    4. The cross day 2nd May: People decorate cross with flowers. This day is too funny because people wear flamenco costumes and dance flamenco all the day.

    5. The Holy Week (The date depends of the moon):

    People from Andalusia make processions in which the most important saints go on parades.

    
     
    6. The April Fair
    April fair 30th april-6th april: During a week, people wear flamenco costumes and dance flamenco. People also eat typical meals from Sevilla like gazpacho, cocido andaluz or huevos a la flamenca.

    7. Andalucia's day 28th february. This day is when andalusians celebrate our day thanks to Blas Infante.
