She Changes - Anémona

 

   Led by Janet Echelman, the network structure, about 50 m high, called "She Changes", is a tribute to the fishing community of Matosinhos. Its splendor allows it to be regarded as one of the most emblematic business cards of the Municipality of Matosinhos, as well as reference work not only at the national level but also internationally.
Sculpture Magazine considered it "one of the truly significant public artworks in recent years". In 2004, the one also denominated "Anémona" (Sea Anemone) by the people of Matosinhos, passed as the symbol of our town recognized world-wide.
