Gastronomy in our country...

In Poland we have our special meals. Polish meals are very caloric! We love our traditional food. For Christmas we have the most deliciousmeals: pierogi, bigos, beetrout soup and other delicious food. We arecrazy about pierogi! Our mum do also Christmas juice –susz. It is made of dried apples but we don't like it. Our grandmas often do mealsof boiled potatoes, we call it kopytka. A Sunday lunch we often have schabowy. This is our traditional porkchop.

We have also regional dishes. In the moutains you can buy oscypek. It’s a kind of a smoked cheese made of salted sheep milk. At every festival you find szczypki, something like along candy of sugar. Every grandma makes gołąbki, in English it mean little doves but they don't have anything to do with this.It’s a cabbage stuffed with meat and rice for example.
