AN ARTICLE ABOUT  TOURISM IN SPAIN

Spain is a country with a lot of monuments, palaces, old cities to visit and that is the reason why it is one of the most visited countries around the world. The tourism is really important to the Spanish economy. This a datum that shows the high tourism: Spain has been the second country which receives more tourists in 2016 (the first country was USA). According to a statistic from OMT( World Tourism Organization), tourists spend 52,2 millions in 2009.

The most common tourists are English and French people who visit Spain during the summer and they like staying at hotels near from the beach. These tourists come to our country by plane and also, by car, but the communication by means of train increased 12,5% in 2014. In 2015, the number of German tourists increased in 1,2%.

The  most visited communiities by these tourists were Madrid, Catalonia and other place was the coast. Catalonia had 17,4 millions of tourists in 2015. Other community which tourists love a lot is Andalusia and 9,3 millions visited it in 2015. Other means of transport that they use is the boat.
