How to explain Solar System to young students?

This is the question French students and Greek students tryed to answer ( in another etwinning project : "ISS: Intelligent Shared Science"). The link with "Full STEAM ahead" is the 3D printer. With the help of older students, young French students designed half spheres and printed them. These half spheres are respecting the scales as asked by the Greeek students.

After few days of travelling by mail from France to Greece, the half spheres reached Mister Farassopoulos classroom. His students then painted these models respecting the colors of the planets and them realized stopmotion videos...
