Hello dear Bulgarian students,I watched your video about traditional dance in Bulgaria, it's a beautiful dance and very interesting but this dance is too difficult for us , do you have an other horo with more easy steps ?
I have some questions :
Where come from this dance ?
Where this dance can take place ?
How many horo there are ?
Can you send me some links about the different horo in Bulgaria ? (Tom.Declomesnil) ;)
Hello dear Bulgarian and Italian
We are working on dance project , on the french traditional dance : "an dro"
More information can be found on twinspace. Today we are looking for modern variants of this dance .

Do Skoro (Tom Declomesnil)
If you found this horo too difficult this is our suggestion about a much easier horo called "Pravo Horo".

Hello dear partners from France and Italy,
These are some pictures and a video from our first rehearsal on Monday. As a first time when we danced our “pravo horo”, we think that it was OK.
At least we enjoyed ourselves! (Galina Marinova)
Yesterday, a group of 12 students got together and chose the English song "Hall of Fame" by The Script to be performed during the Italian show.
The other suggestions were : John Lennon's "Imagine" , USA for Africa "We Are The World".
If you have any other suggestions you can share them with us!
(Stoycho Hristov)
Hello dear partner , we have tryed tone dance the "horo",it's a exhausting and funny dance
(Tom Declomesnil)
The two sings are good but "We Are The World" is most happiest .

WOW! You are doing great with Pravo Horo! We hope to learn the dance An dro as fast as you did the Pravo Horo.
As for the song that you chose, we are not very sure if you saw all of the songs, We wrote that our choice was "Hall of Fame" . What do you think about it? This was the song that was played by Antonello in Bulgaria during the talent show.
Dear French friends, have a nice winter holiday! (Stoycho Hristov)
Dear friends, I will be happy to play "Hall of Fame" again; and this time we will sing all together!
(Antonello Bertugno)
Dear Bulgarian and French partners,
we watched your videos of 'Horo' and 'An dro' and students are practising them. Soon we will show you an example of a 'tarantella' so that you can start dancing it.
Now we are also thinking about music: some IT students can play traditional music. Can any of you play, too? Would you like to play during the meeting so that we can dance with live music? Let us know... and if you have other suggestions, write!
(Mariella Vaccaro)
I am going to have the answer of my students after the holidays, which means not before Feb.28th. The idea of a live music seems to me interesting. But I also think that the traditional instruments have their importance in every traditional music. (Page instruments)

Dear Italian and French friends,
I'd like to play Bulgarian traditional music like "Horo" during the meeting. I will be so happy to enjoy all of you with an accordion.
(Ivan Rashkov)
Dear Ivan, we will certainly do our best so that you will find an accordion here at school for you to play!
Here you can watch the video filmed by Italian students of a simple, basic style of 'tarantella'. Try to practice it, if you have time!
And on this link you can watch a typical tarantella lucana:

Dear Italian partners,
we watched your video of ''Tarantella", practised by students. I think that "Tarantella" has something in common with one of our traditional dances which encouraged me a bit. At least we will try to dance it before our coming in two weeks.
And now you can watch three new videos from our last rehearsal:
It’s very exciting to play Pravo horo to the accompaniment of an accordion.
Here is our accordionist Ivan Rashkov. He’s amazing, isn’t he?
And these are our first steps in An dro. We know that our first trial is far from perfect, but we are not desperate and will keep practising!
(Galina Marinova)
That's great! your group is really into dances! We will have a great performance in Italy!
Now, here are the lyrics of the song that we chose to sing all together in English as a common language for all of us:
We are comeback on high school , we are working the dance , we expect you will be ok :)
