Maths

  • October 2016

Math teachers team for this project consists of Antonio De Bitonto in Italy, Neli Ruseva in Bulgaria and Odile Jenvrin in France.

    - Activity 1 is to use vocabulary on calculations in English is to fill a collaborative SODOKU.

    - Activity 2 is about maths and entertainment through magic tricks. Each student team performs a magic trick in a self made document, then explains the maths principle that it is based in a second document. The partners can then film themselves performing the tricks that they have been taught by their partners' videos and documents.

    - Activity 3 is about statistics. The Zoe car has been equipped this year with pollution detectors gathering datas while the car is driving all the way between two partner schools. This data is handled by students to allow a better understanding of this new information. Data is split into 3 files and each school is dealing with one file to reach a global information together.

    Good luck to all,

After this year of math, contributions are effectively on the following subjects:

    - sodoku, between France and Bulgaria

Contributions are of various forms. They are mostly spoken videos from France, videos and excell sheets from Bulgaria, diagrams and excell scheets from Italy. Gianfranco Cosola from Italy and Vanya Miteva from Bulgaria joined the math team with their contributions.

This twinspace is also used by the French math teacher to store all math videos made by the French students, also those with no reply from partners (Magic Addition, Magic 1089), to allow the French students to disseminate results of their work in this etwinning - Erasmus+ project to the jury in France for secondary school final examination.
