"Dante Alighieri" Lower Secondary School of Merlara

Siamo  studenti della classe 3A della scuola secondaria di primo grado di Merlara (PD) nel Nord dell'Italia.

Il nostro è un piccolo paese situato nella pianura Padana, lontano da grossi centri abitati.

La nostra scuola è piccola la frequentano circa 70 alunni suddivisi in 3 classi. Abbiamo già partecipato in altri progetti etwinnin negli anni precedenti.Per la prima volta partecipaimo al progetto Eratostene. Siao molto contenti di collaborare con gli altri studenti.

1st : preparing materials (gnomon, meter, set square etc.) discussing about the method, errors. How to calculate the solar noon. Discussing about data protection and netiquette.

Today we tried to find local Solar Noon:

It was not easy but we found approssimately between 12.15 and 12.25 pm.

9  November we were involved in coding: all seems Hieroglyph to me. We wrote words and simple quotes in hierogyph! We had a lot of fun!
