    Climate action

This goal of the 2030 agenda is "climate action". This goal is very important because climate change is a serius problem.
Climate change affects cuontries on all continents. It is upsetting national economies, with high costs for people, communities and countries today, and which will be even more serious tomorrow.
People are experiencing the significant impacts of climate change, such as changing weather conditions, rising sea levels and other even more extreme weather phenomena.(Andrea C.IT.)

    Agenda 2030 goal 13 pt. 1

Climate change affects countries on all continents, people are experiencing the significant impacts of climate change, such as changing weather conditions, rising sea levels and other even more extreme weather phenomena. Greenhouse gas emissions from human activities are the driving force behind climate change and continue increase. (Federico IT)

    Agenda 2030 goal 13 pt. 2

    Successes:
    1) strengthen the capacity for recovery and adoptotion to climate-related risks and natural disasters in all countries.
    2) integrate climate change measures into national policies, strategies and planning.
    3) improve education
    4) promate mechanisms to increase the effective planning and menagement capacity of interventions related to climate change in the least developed countries.(Chiara IT)

    Causes and effects

This goal is very important because it fights against the climate change.
The causes are: the Greenhouse and the gas emissions from human activities .
One of solution: the countries have signed a contract for climate change in April.(Sara IT)

    CONSEQUENCES ANS SOLUTIONS

It’s affecting people communities, economy and nations day by day. Ice is melting, sea levels are rising, weather temperature is getting higher and greenhouse gas emission too. By the year 2030 the UN wants to:strengthen resistance and adaptive capacity to climate change and natural disasters; put measures into effect in political strategies; improve education on the matter of climate change.
You can save energy, food and water or volunteer to prevent further global warming. (Ana Mirapeix 4C)

    The Paris Agreement

The Paris Agreement it’s an agreement that has the goal to reduce emissions of greenhouse effect and keeping a global temperature rise this century well below 2 degrees and this will help move us toward a more sustainable future In total 195 countries signed this agreement.

    Greta Thunberg

Greta Thunberg is a Swedish environmental activist, focused on the risks of global warming. Greta inspires thousands of young people, and in recent years she has become an important and famous person in the world.

    TAKE ACTION AND COST

By the end of the century global temperature will be 1.5 degrees. We see how climate change causes conflicts. If we take action now it will lead to more jobs, prosperity and better lives for everyone. It can cost at least $1 trillion per year by 2030. This sounds like a lot, but consider that if we used the $1.7 trillion invested in 2016 in energy like fossil fuels to pay for cleaner energy solutions, it would’ve been better for climate warming. Investment in fossil fuels continues to be higher than investment in climate activities. (Ana Mirapeix 4C)

    Rising temperature

In 2019, the average temperature across global land and ocean surfaces was 0.95°C above the twentieth-century average of 13.9°C, making it the second-warmest year on record. The first warmest year was in 2016, with 1.0°C. The five warmest years in the 1880-2019 record have all occurred since 2015, while nine of the 10 warmest years have occurred since 2005. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said that limiting global warming to 1.5ºC would require rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society. ;) (Maria B. and Laura R.-AENG)

    Rising sea levels

The rising sea levels are something that will going to affect us.
Sea level has risen 21–24 centimeters since 1880. The rate of sea level rise is accelerating: it has more than doubled from 1.4 millimeters per year throughout most of the twentieth century to 3.6 millimeters per year from 2006–2015. <3 (Maria B, Laura R and Francisco M-AENG)

    Climate Action

This goal is very important. Because other goals cannot be achieved before the world returns to normal. Although there are many reasons for climate change, one of the most important is sera gases. We can go a long way by blocking them.(Sıla Güney TR)

    Climate Action

Nowadays there are so many factories that exhale really destructive substances and pollute the air. We all know very well that air is something we can’t live without. When we breathe the polluted air, we can get seriously ill. Ground-level ozone can damage lung tissue, and is especially harmful for those with asthma and other chronic lung diseases. Sunlight and high temperatures, combined with other pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds, can cause the ground-level ozone to increase. We cannot escape from the polluted air-it’s everywhere, even in our homes and we are breathing it non-stop. This can cause cancer and other serious diseases.
