Győri SzC Lukács Sándor Vocational Secondary School of Mechatronics and Mechanics

Located in Győr, North-West Hungary our school is one of the most remarkable educational institutions in the region. Nearly 1500 students are enrolled and over 100 teachers employed at our school. The school has been specializing in trainings related to metalworking industries for more than 50 years. Nearly twenty trades are taught and trained here including such jobs as mechanical cutters or mechatronic technologists.

The training of pipe fitters started back at the 1970s when all metalworking trades were concentrated in one school. Over the years, the school developed educational programs in the building services engineering field and now trains gas system and central heating installers, plumbers, drain layers and utility fitters, and building services engineering technician.

Győr and its surroundings have fast developing industries that require well-trained experts who are capable of meeting the requirements of our modern age. Nowadays the labour market desperately needs traditional metalworkers, while at the same time the demand for previously fashionable jobs has decreased. However, the improved technology needs launching some new trades.
