1st step:

Students wrote on a big poster how they imagined life when their grandparents were their age. They lived in farm houses without electricity and they didn´t have all the facilties and the appliances that we have nowadays.

2nd step:

They prepared a questionnaire in their own language for their grandparents about the ideas in the poster:

3rd step

Grandparents came to school the week before we were confined in March 2010. They brought some gadgets they used at home at that time.

4th step

Students completed this file at home not to forget the information. They completed it in their own language ( Basque) and then we put the most important ideas into English and recorded some short videos for our partners:
