  • What was your favourite scene from The Fault in Our Stars?

    Christoffer NO

My favourite scene isn’t really a scene. It wasn’t part of the movie, because they left it out. It’s page 280 in the book. It was when Hazel was playing blind-person games. This moment really helped lighten the mood, and it was quite funny.

«the world is not a wish-granting place» it tells you that you can not get anything you want with a snap of your finger. If you want something in life you have to work for it.

    Andreas, NO

My favorite scene was when they were in the church and made a eulogy for Augustus funeral

I liked the scene where they sat on the plane to Amsterdam. I think it was a nice scene because the talked about stuff and had fun watching a movie.

    Stine, No

I am not sure which scene was my favourite, but the scene that affected me the most was when Hazel read the letter from Augustus. It was a sad scene, but at the same time i felt it was such a good thing that he left it for her.

    Andrine. NO

The favorite scene in The Foult in Our Star was when Hazel meet Augustus in the support group and Hazel’s mother said they are going to Amsterdam.

    Amanda, NO

My favorite scene from The Fault In Our Stars was when they went to the Anne Frank house. When they finally admitted their love for eachother with a kiss.

The moment when Hazel reads Agustus letter and realized he had cancer before the trip to Amsterdam. He didnt tell her for some reason. Im not sure if it was to make her more comfortable or feel love without the fear of loosing it at any moment.

My favourite scene from The fault in our stars

It’s so hard to choose what my favourite scene is because, they vas all so good and so full of impact on me. But I think it has to be in the Anne frank house. At one point hazel saw a book with three other people with the exact same name. None of them was remembered. None of them has an entire house, just because they lived.

My favorite scene was when Hazel found out that Augustus had died. I think she thought that she were going to die before him because she was more sick then he was in the start.

    Anda, RO

My favorite part would be Augustus' letter in the final pages.

    Andrei, RO

My favorite part of the book would be the entire time Augustus & Hazel were in Amsterdam.

    Bianca, RO

I loved so many scenes from the book but the part I liked the most would probably be the last part, when Hazel Grace read the letter Gus had sent to Peter van Houten asking him to edit his eulogy for her.

    Maia, RO

My favorite part is when Augustus takes a cigarette and Hazel have a massive fit but then he says its a metaphor saying "They don't kill you unless you light them," he said as Mom arrived at the curb. "And I've never lit one. It's a metaphor, see: You put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to do its killing." ....

    Mario, RO

My favourite part was when Hazel calls Augustus after he has died and hears his recorded voice in his mobile.

    Denisa, RO

Augustus's pre-funeral eulogy by Issac & Hazel because it made me smile & cry at the same time.

    Marco PT

My favourite scene was when Augustus told Hazel that he was going to take him to see his favourite writer, Peter Van Houten.

    Francisco PT

My favourite scene is the scene where Hazel mets Augustus. I think that happiness that is bring with Augustus is the big factor that allows Hazel having a happy life.

    Márcia, Portugal

My favourite scene from The Fault in Our Stars is when the boy suprises the girl with tickets for Amesterdam. She was super happy because she couldn't use her cancer wish to go there.

    Afonso, Portugal

I loved the book very much. I haven't got a favourite scene, but when I think about it, the memory that comes to my mind is the one when they fall in love and realise the importance of that feelings.

    Ángel Nogueira, Spain

My favorite scene, although it was the saddest, was when in Amsterdam Augustus told Heisel that cancer had spread, that he was sorry, and that he loved her. It may be a very sad scene, but it is my favorite because it brings out the humanity of the person who sees it, in my case, it brought out my feelings to the surface, it made me remember that human beings feel empathy for others, sometimes even more than normal and that's beautiful.

    Paola, Spain

As typical as it might sound, my favourite scene is the one where Hazel and Augustus talk for the first time in the parking lot. Where Augustus puts the cigarette between his lips. I think this marks the beginning of their story together. Hazel for a minute, before he says it's a metaphor, thought that this would stop them from getting to know each other, but that just encourages them to do so.
I believe that this is a very unusual way to meet somebody, but at the same time very meaningful.

    Noelia, spain

My favorite scene from the fault in our stars is when Hazel is disappointed in her favorite writer that she has idealized. She thought she would find an answer from the end of her favorite book and she met a bitter and alcoholic man.

    Phrencis, Spain

My favourite scene from the book is when they went to Amsterdam and they had their date and it showed that they really enjoyed each other's company and they had a strong feeling for one another. I also liked the scenes when they would call each other and just talk about their favourite things about their favourite books.

    Xena, Spain

My favourite scene from The Fault in our Stars is when Augustus used his wish to go to Amsterdam with Hazel so she could meet her favourite author and visit the country. And also because in Amsterdam they accepted their love for each other.

    Žana, Litija, Slovenia

I can`t choose my favourite one, because I like the whole story.

    Milo, SLO

It is when Hazel and Gus arrive in Amsterdam and Gus confesses his love for Hazel during a romantic meal.

    Taja, SLO

My favourite scene is when Hazel reads the letter, in which Gus accepts his fate and professes his love for Hazel.

    Tai, SLO

To be honest, I do not really like that sort of books and/or films.

    Ana, SLO

Did you notice: When Gus narrates the letter he wrote Hazel, his voice says slightly different words than the letter contains when it is shown briefly in Hazel's hands.

    Nuria, Spain

My favourite scene of "The fault in our Stars" is when Hazel and Augustus meet their favourite writer expecting that he will answer their questions and maybe write a sequel of their favourite novel, but nothing happened as they expected and they both became sad.
