Due to Covid19 restrictions, we could not visit any library, but for a month we read old books our school's library wanted to dispose of, and then we went to a monument which is close to us devoted to the importance of education and reading.

We re-read our favourite parts of the books there for a while, and then we did some Book Crossing in the area, saying goodbye to all those books and offering them as a gift to our neighbours. The books were in Catalan, Italian, English, Spanish and French. We like to think that that week we made an outdoor library out of our neighbourhood.

Later on, in January we were able to visit a true indoor library, library Andreu Nin, at Barri Gòtic. Three of our classes went there.

Classes 4A and 4B took were told how to take home some books on loan. They were very happy because they could use them for their end-of-cycle research projects! It was fascinating for them to discover how many categories and subcategories there were!

And classes 1A and 1B took the opportunity to enjoy a couple of superfun storytelling sessions, and invited to learn how the loan system worked by entering their own loaned books in the network of public libaries' computer system.
