For many years the Polish partner has been cooperating with different institutions in the following areas: tolerance, promoting acqusition of foreign languages and ICT skills as well as caring about environment, sport and health. Facing the problem of drops outs, we've introduced the worshops informing about jobs and self developing.
The last few projects were devoted to programming and coding in order to develop integrating skills.The school organises Technology days for kindergartens, the disabled and parents. It proposes doing experiments, coding, using robots, tablets and various applications aiming towards teaching logical thinking, creativity and teamwork. Having it in mind, we have decided to share our common experience and gain the one about team and healthy aspects in the European community.There are teachers trained to realize the project's aims. Some use the methods of active and effective teaching.
We always wish our school to challenge students. The increasing number of students with special educational needs requires constant development of educational methods. We propose to work over ideas approaching in a multi-intelligent way, involving activities based on linguistic, artistic, sports, IT and social skills. The education is processed by means of ICT tools to improve key skills. We have noticed the present problem of increasing number of students with special educational needs. Such a situation demands studying and gaining modern methods of work for teachers and other school participants like parents.
Among many activities organised during Smart Hero Polish students took part in competition “My dream job” in a Canva infographics. The aim of the competition was to give students a chance to develop their ICT competences as well as their English language skills. Both of these objectives are the part of the school curriculum.
The competition was targeted for students of 6th, 7th and 8th grades.
We received about 100 interesting and creative works. We decided to give the winning place several students for their creative works in English.
