In December and January 2019 we worked on the theme Hero around us. We wanted our students to noticed and described Hero of relatives in various activities such us:
1. a discussion with parents and relatives to present good habits of everyday life
2. a talk with teachers in classes about everyday heroes in our families to write a thank-you letters to relatives.
The Spanish school prepared the work.
The sixth and fifth graders would like to thank our grandfathers that:
They make delicious meals when we are staying in their home.
They are nice, generous and attentive. You always help us.
They pick we up to the school.
They tell us their own histories and experiences.
Furthermore it is important:
Giving us your hand when we need.
Taking care to us when our parent is working or we are sick.
Bundling we up in winter.
Encouraging us when we are sad.
Going to the beach, forest or walking to the mountain.
Giving birth to the best parents of the world.
Teaching to walk, speak, smile and listen.
Telling histories about the past time when you were young and our parents were child.
Leaving us to celebrate our birthday in your home.
Helping us to do the homework.
Singing songs with us.
Welcoming Christmas together.
Making funny familiar dinners.
In January Poland we celebrate Grandparents' Days. That is why we focused on letters to the oldest in our families to thank them for their unconditional help.
The older students made TV spots- a film about their family heroes.
4. art competitions about family hero in Poland and Cyprus, making posters and photos
We made presentations of the works at parents' meetings which were held in December.
