Healthy Hero Lecture

  • During our project lifetime we would like to rise the students' awarness about the wide scope of education. Preparing the first visit we wanted to inspire the young to be active and engaged in the process of developing the key competnences like ICT, health, linguistic and European.  Inspiring cooperation and team working based on the modern technology tools helped our schools to plan and lead the first transnational meeting in the Cypriot partner school.

We chose the Cypriot gymnasium since the health education has been in the curricula for many years. About 400 12-18-yer-olds study in the public gimnasium. The health education stands in the centre of each school year. It is widlely taught concentrating on the body and psychological health as well as addiction prevention and working over bad habbits. The students,  teachers and parents have already experienced in  Erasmus+ programme in 2014, accompishing 2 projects, titled Healthy and Creative Pupils across Borders. Leading by the cypriot coordinator who via the common tasks, our students undrtook inspiring education which offered the chance to exchange ideas like acknowledge of the Mediterean food piramid, healthy meals and recipes.
