Results of the DE week
In general, the evaluation form's results show that the German mobility has been appreciated by the participants.
German students' main benefit was being able to go on the visits and to host a guest student (which gave some of them the possibility to "return the favour" since they were already guest students in other countries). Here are some things they mentioned in the evaluation:
- "[I learned about] other things from the other countries, other cultures, other sport plays."
- "I learned new languages, [about] new cultures and new games."
- "For me the most difficult thing during the week was saying goodbye on Friday :( "
- " I think it was a nice experience and it was one of the best weeks in my life."
- "[I learned that speaking] English with other kids is not so bad, kids from the other countries are the same than German kids."
- "I have found new friends."
- "[I'm proud] that I was a member of the project in my country."
- "I managed to communicate with my guest student better than expected. There was no language barrier."
- "We spent great time together and had fun to learn, too."
But also the guest students had some very positive things to say and seemed to have benefited from this mobility:
- "[I learned to] socialize better, to speak better English and I learned the culture of the country."
- "It was a good trip!"
- "I'm proud to be able to meet the challenge."
- "[I learned] to collaborate with other students, to code, and about the history of Bremen.
- "[I'm proud of] talking in English with students from different countries."
- "I learned about the history of Bremen and I learned how to play new sports games."
- "I learned how to make more friends."
- "I was amazed by this country and the people."
- "It was a unique experience for me."
The teachers gave a very good feedback, too:
- "What I liked most was the contact and interaction established with teachers and students from other countries. The exchange of experiences was an asset of this exchange."
- "To see the students get along, seeing the colleagues again, the activities in Hannover and in school, that's what I enjoyed the most."
- "I was inspired the most by ice-breaking classes - very simple and involving all project participants: teachers and students."
- "I was inspired by the willingness of students to collaborate beyond the languages barrier and the desire to create new games useing Scratch software."
- "[I loved] getting to know the other people from different European countries."
- "I was inspired by seeing the students working together and building such a close relationship."
- "It was a great week we had a lot of fun. Especially the students. I think they came really close with the families."
- "The German hospitality was great and the programm was really interesting."
