    Technology in Music lessons

    Technology can be used in a broader range of activities, not only for coding or programming. In Portugal, we are also using it to research, write music, create, record, among other.

    Technology activities in Vulcan, Romania 

    Contest for programming robots, in teams, to follow different routes, 2019

    -ROBO & FUN is a competition, robotics and programming activity, involving 6th grade students from School No.4, Vulcan, Hunedoara County, Romania. Objectives: -using ICT devices and software to fulfill workloads -collaboration in groups to identify solutions -developing analytical thinking - problem solving -developing critical thinking -developing elementary skills in programming Working method: -students will be divided into 4 groups of 4 pupils -each group has chosen the representative color (blue, yellow, red and green) -each group has a tablet on which software was installed to control a robot -COZMO, ANKI (students schedule the route) -the first task involves moving the robot on a predetermined route for all groups, moving the robot involves programming it with the preinstalled software The first task is to familiarize with the software and schedule the route. Each group had the possibility to test the software and the programming before the workload started -the second task involves moving the robot on a new route for each group Resources: COZMO robot, ANKI; tablet Evaluation: -tracking previously set (points between 1 and 5) -the time required to run the route
