OFFERING A HAND MADE BOOK TO A FRIEND

Students have offered their small books to the children in our kindergartens. Teacher Ankica and her students have visited kindergarten called Trnoružica and teacher Vesna and her students presented our little books in Kolijevka.

INTERNATIONAL BOOK GIVING DAY (14.2.2019.)

Our students have donated 145 books to the children who are staying at the Children's Department of the City Hospital in Vinkovci.                                      These books will make their stay in the hospital less difficult.

Read to me, please! _Čitaj mi! 

Reading aloud is the key to raising children who love and value reading and who grow up to become good readers!
Once a week, at the beginning of the lessons,1st grade students and their teachers come to the library and listen to a fairy tale or story which is read by the school librarian. This activity lasts from October till April and it is evaluated by students impressions and artwork.

ACTIVITIES AT THE SCHOOL LIBRARY - THE TREASURE HUNT

Achievements = outcomes: students were getting to use the library space, memorize the writers and book titles, the most important creating the habit of visiting the school library

Participants in activities: school librarian, 7th grade students and an English teacher

Realization: Students were using instructions and dashboards, moving between bookshelves and searching for books

Method of evaluation: Students responses and their interest, prizes for all participants  (report in MATERIALS/FILES)
