INTRODUCTION
In this project we are going to focus on locally grown foods, which are basis for traditional cuisines of our regions and countries. We would also like to boast about our regional cuisine as a tourist attraction and the purpose of travelling. All the project activities are supposed to help students learn more about tradition and culture of their region and exchange the information with peers from other partner schools.
SEPTEMBER TASKS
- Setting up and customizing profiles on Twinspace.
In their profiles, students introduce themselves and answer the questions: What food means to you? Are you a foodie? What kind of food do you like and hate eating? Do you consider taking up a food-related job? Then the students visit the profiles of other members and they interact with each other.

Students introduce their schools and regions: Croatia (Omiŝ), Nafpaktos (Greece), Goleniów (Poland), Limanowa (Poland), Auch (France). Students and teachers introduce themselves.

Students from each partner school prepare a quiz related to one type of the culinary word sets (15-30 words) for their partners:
- cooking verbs and techniques (Croatia),
- cooking utensils and tools (France),
- food and ingredients (Greece),
- spices, herbs, and condiments (Italy),
- alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages (Poland, Goleniów),
- eating and serving utensils (Poland, Limanowa).
2. Transnational Virtual Restaurants/Blog Entries Used for the Common Tasks
Students of each school set up virtual restaurants with a name, logo and traditional menu. On this main page are presented the restaurants of each country which promote regional cuisines.

NOVEMBER TASKS
- A visit to a food festival or food fair
- A dish with a product from the food festival (a film and a blog entry about it)
- Advertising slogans for the food festivals presented by other schools

Students visit a food festival or a food fair and make a presentation about it. They use Tricider tool to write advertising slogans which promote festivals shown by other schools. Then, they vote for the best slogan.
Students make a dish with a product from the festival they visited and show the cooking process. If they cannot make the dish at school, they describe how it can be made.
Then students are divided in mix teams. In a video, some students ask questions related to their festival foods and the others answer.
DECEMBER TASKS
- An e-book about Christmas traditions and food made together by the students of all partner schools. Video presentations about Christmas traditions and food.
- Optional: A video/ a presentation which shows how to cook a Christmas dish and a blog entry about the dish on Restaurant page.

Students of each partner school contribute to making a StoryJumper e-book about Christmas traditions and food of their countries and regions. They can also make videos and/ or blog entries on these topics and post them on the page with the virtual restaurants on it.

Students take part in a cooking class or workshop with an experienced cook or a chef at their schools. They create a step-by-step visual documentation (photos or a film) of the cooking process on a Padlet board and they describe (voiceover) their partner schools’ cooking process. A professional cook or a chef is interviewed by students. Students take part in a knowledge quiz based to the knowledge gained.
FEBRUARY TASKS
- Presentations of carnival traditions and customs.

Students visit an open-air museum, an ethnographic park or a food museum. In a presentation they show a tool or device used for growing crops, land cultivation, harvesting or cooking equipment from the past.
They cook a dish based on an old recipe, film the process of cooking, upload the film and write a blog entry there about their trip and the dish.

Students of partner schools make together a presentation about Easter traditions and food (each school provides their materials) of their countries. They read a story of a man who tries to produce food using traditional methods of farming and take part in a discussion about healthy food. They also express their opinions on doing internship abroad.
