One of the CRAFTS that has survived past centuries and is still very alive and well is the art of HAND-KNITTING PIROT RUG.

 

FOOD

On 7th June 2018 one class of 3rd-graders and one class of 5th-graders,with their teachers Vesna Velickovic (class teacher), Vasilije Koprivica (geopraphy teacher) and Maja Hadzic (English teacher and coordinator of this project) visited the foot of the Avala mountain in the nearest vicinity of our school. A respresentative of the public company 'Srbijasume' acquainted the students with the historical and natural heritage of this protected area. Our school is located at the foot of Avala, and most of our students live nearby, but Mr Milorad Borkovic presented us some little known facts and thus raised the children's interest. We also chose one red oak (Quercus Rubra) which will be planted in the schoolyard in autumn, as our heritage to future students and teachers of our school.
