Main goal of the workshops against aesthetic discrimination:

Each international group student will incorporate new tools and strategies to accept physical differences and one`s own body in order to overcome aesthetics stereotypes and to prevent aesthetic discrimination. 

1.-November 28,2017 (international working groups of the1st mobility at IES Urbi): Be beautiful, be you.

Taking into account the particular case of Lizzie Velásquez, the students have to think about the concept of beauty.

2.-November 28, 2017 (international working groups of the1st mobility at IES Urbi): Creating a portrait of my partner in the style of Arcimboldo.

In order to overcome traditional aesthetic stereotypes, the students should create a portrait of their partners with fruits, following the style of Arcimboldo.

3.-January 23, 2018 (international working groups of the 2nd mobility at Athena Pottelberg): Timeless beauty by Petronius (Satyricon 126).

The students organised in international groups analyze a text (Satyricon 126)  by Petronius on a physical description.

4.-January 27, 2018 (international working groups of the 2nd mobility at Athena Pottelberg): Animation movie based on Picasso.

The students create an animation movie combining facial features in a non-traditional way, following the style of Picasso.

5.-April 20, 2018 (international working groups of the 3rd mobility at Liceo Tito Livio): Mosaic on the Pietá Rondanini.

The students should create a mosaic on the "Pietá Rondanini" by Michelangelo using all possible viewpoints.

6.-November 29, 2018 (international working groups of the 4th mobility at IES Urbi): Greek dress workshop.

The students should create a Greek chiton and a Greek peplos dress.

7.-November 29, 2019 (international working groups of the 5th mobility at IES Urbi): Artwork photoshop and Body image.

Artwork photoshop: Students modify the canon of some artworks analysed in the aesthetic guide and adjuste it to modern standards.

Body image: Students compare the physical change of some celebritieswho have undergone aesthetic surgery.

8.-January 29, 2019 (international working groups of the 5th mobility at Liceo Tito Livio): Creating beauty with waste materials.

Students create beauty in a non-traditional way using waste materials.

9.-May, 8, 2019 (international working groups of the 6th mobility at Athena Pottelberg): Animation movie in the style of William Kentridge.

The students create an animation movie combining facial features in a non-traditional way, following the style of William Kentridge.

10.-May, 8, 2019 (international working groups of the 6th mobility at Athena Pottelberg): Roman cooking workshop. 

Students prepare a Roman menu in collaboration with foreign partners on the basis of the Latin texts by Apicius.
