The international target groups generated a collaborative virtual timeline about beauty canons from Prehistoric times until today. The characteristics of male and female beauty canons are summarized and exemplified with an artwork or picture for each of the following periods: Prehistoric times, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Middle Ages, Renaissance, 17th and 18th centuries, 19th century, 20th and 21st century.
