Tank is not filled for easier transport

    👏👏👏👏

so ready to leave for France

    19/12/2018 :

    Hi Thobias

Difficult for me to identify by online the work we have to do but if you think your part is finish you can send me the chassis

I think we will start by list the different marathon' rules to know if we really are in the process or not

    20/12/2018 :

All THE rules are followed. Will finish the hydrualic part then send you the chassie. Week two or three in if thats ok?

We have put a brake system from ligier on the chassie. Two front discs and two rear. Parking brake on the rear discs. Brake pedal No less than 5*5cm. Direct turning and 16inch wheels. Turning full circle is less then 6m.

    Have you fixed the engine?

Right now thats the most important thing to sort out

    13/12/2018 :

if you want to mount the brakes all is ready.

Rear brakes will just be spot welded to place for you to know how much space you have to work with.

The machines in the industrie program is Broken so we cant make adapters for rear discs at this time. Maybe you can sort that? Or we will finish it next time we have it in Sweden

    05/12/2018 :

To this day we are following all the rules 😁

    04/12/1018 :

    Hej Thobias
Sorry for delay but .... yeahhh ! what stage !!!
    👍🏻
    The car is moving 🤗
Many questions about but before is it possible for you to post it on twinspace to make every one profits 😉

Sure... Will post on twinspace.. have class all day mon-tuseday so its easier to just send to you 😁

    You're the best 😄

Do you think the braking system' rules could be solved

Yes No problem.. working on it

I started working on energy and I hope it will interesting for our students

The next step would be to make sure that all the rules for the moment are respected. What do you think about ?

I Will look over it in the morning. Why do you think there is a rule about four discs in the brake system when its a solid rear axle

The second disc makes No differance

I know but marathon's rules are rules. Now if I'm the only one invested by the marathon I just have to know. I don't want to impose it to the other and we are not obliged to do. To my mind it mustn't be a constrain but the link for our project and collaboration but perhaps I'm wrong

Some of the students are really excited about the race and so am I. Of course we should build it to race. 😁

    29/11/2018 :

Hej Thobias You're right ? Some news ?

Small progress each Day. Trying to sort the brake

Hubs with bearing is in place

Maybe you can sort steering? Then you get the cart faster

    26/11/2018 :

    waouh !

that is the hub made by your school !

    what a good job

    Yes industri program made them

    25/11/2018 :

    Hej Thobias
did you pay attention to this rule ?

    ARTICLE 51: BRAKING
    a) The vehicle must be equipped with a four-disc hydraulic brake system, with a single brake pedal, which has a minimum surface area of 2500 mm². The brake pedal must operate the master cylinders either directly or through a rigid mechanical link. Wires/cables are not allowed. Commercially available brake systems (discs and calipers) with a minimum disc thickness of 3 mm are mandatory. Manufacturer’s documentation is required to demonstrate authenticity. Bicycle brakes are not allowed.

You have to sort that out

Could we discuss about this week

    They sure make it difficult

So I'm face to face a problem 😕
I would be very difficult to involved myself in fuel cell energy without respect shell' eco marathon

But we have a stiff rear axle. Strange to have to discs in the rear

But problems are there to be fixed

Sure depends what we really wants for our project

We will sort it out.. think it fits in the wheels in the front
