Visiting the kindergarden to read stories from the printed out multicultural story book.
Reading stories to primary classe students and demonstration of digital story book
Introduction with Scratch game and playing it with teacher Mariana
Visiting Sigulda ( the little Switherland of Latvia)
Visiting Turaida’s castle and Dainu hill, students orientation games at Turaida
Visiting Ligatne’s nature trails of the National park of the River Gauja,
Students activities organized by students’ council “ Lets play and dance together! ”
Optional dinner for teachers at restaurant Bucephalus
Wednesday, 16th May
Multicultural digital game Kahoot lead by Turkish partners
Presentation of the Mascot films
Introduction students with the mascot Brolly
Exhibition of the multicultural cardboard game
Visiting the Craft house of Drabesi manor
Visiting the Breadhouse Krumini
Free time in the medieval town Cesis
Optional dinner for teachers in the medieval castle Cesis with theatral performances and national food.
Thursday, 17th May
Students workshop- making summarizing about Nitaure’s meeting with Biteable
Coordinators meeting- arranging dates for next meetings, playing multicultural cardboard game to understand the rules, estimate the ready made story book.
All- students and teachers made a general evaluation of the work. The Turkish teachers had made the questionaires and we all filled them. The summarize of them will be put in twinspace.
Students’ presentations with Biteable and droven posters about places they have seen in this week.
Visiting Safari park(Deer park) in More
Activities together with folklore music group Ores
Firewell party for students and teachers. All could enjoy Latvian national food and dance dances from all countries.
All project participants were given a Certificate of this 1st short –term exchange of groups of pupils
Friday, 18th May
Leaving Nitaure and excursion to Riga.
Visiting Open- air Museum, the Latvian National Art museum, guided tour around Old Riga, lunch at the recreation complex “Lido”.
All teachers and students involved in this project were very happy and satisfied with this partnership and really great work carried out by each one of the partners.
