Photography is one of my favourite things to do. It’s also my big passion. I’m interested in photography since 2011, and, when I got my first camera, the adventure with photography started. I love it for many reasons and I will present you some of them.

First, when you take a photo, you can capture a moment, and have it forever. Second, photography makes people so much more observant and aware of the wonderful little things that surround us each day and it changes the way you see things. Third reason is that photography lets you express yourself—your opinions and beliefs. You can do this by choosing what you photograph, and how you represent it. I also really enjoy watching photographs from places that I’ve never been in, so phography can „take me” to this places. Next reason is, photographs let you travel through time. They can bring you back to a moment that you experienced, and you can remember just how you felt. Amazing thing about photography is that you can communicate with people around the world with an image.

I hope you will fall in love with photography just like me because anyone can become a photographer! :)

    LIFE IN PICTURES

Photos are a way to keep memories alive. When you look at one , the beautiful moment flows through your mind . In my opinion, admiring one is like pressing a play button in your brain - you can watch wonderful recalls, you can almost feel for one more time the emotion you felt when you took the picture.

I usually take pictures with my phone camera, when I’m on a holiday. I take pictures of monuments , landscape , statues, but also of my family members and me . That way, I can capture into a snapshot the good times I want to remember. I have lots and lots of pictures of me when I visited France , Thailand, Spain , Indonesia, etc.

I also enjoy taking images of my friends and me. When we’re having a great time we take a nice image of us , and when I look back at all of them, it always brings a smile on my face because they evoke exquisite memories .

Taking professional pictures of plants and other things brings a pleasant feeling to the one who looks at them , though I am not good at taking them. On the other hand, my mum enjoys developing them.

So , the main reason that I take photos is to have amazing evocations . Just looking at one picture, we can all feel stunning emotions – all those astonishing images remain on the retina, and the best ones are hard to forget, because of what they signify and the moment when they were taken, not necessarily because of their aesthetic value.

    Frafjord

    Intro

The  valley Frafjord is located south west of Norway, and is a part of Gjesdal council in Rogaland. There lives 100 to 110 people in the little village. The main activity is agriculture. Most farmers have pigs, cows, chicken, sheep.

    History

From the history of Frafjord I would like to tell about what happened in 1931. There came a big flood into the beach and many boathouses got destroyed by the big waves. They had to build new ones.

    Associations (nature)

What people living near Frafjord often associate with the village is the beautiful landscape and the incredible mountain formations. In the winter the sun actually doesn't reach down to the village because it is surrounded by huge mountains. Frafjord also has a big river that flows through the valley.

    Tourist attractions

In Frafjord there are many nice hikes with beautiful views. The first one that is most popular is called “Månafossen”, and is a beautiful waterfall. It has a fall of 90  metres. To go up to the waterfall takes from 10 to 20 minutes. On the path there are grips to hold on to,

which makes the hike a lot safer when it has rained and the surface is slippery.

Another mountaintop is called “Hatten”, and is the highest point in Frafjord. In english “Hatten” means the hat because the shape of the mountain is similar to a hat.

This hike is more difficult than “Månafossen”. It takes around 8 hours walk.

Frafjord is a beautiful valley with huge mountains and great people. The nature is just unbelievable.

Here are some pictures of Frafjord that I've taken myself:

    Dust of snow

    The way a crow

    Shook down on me

    The dust of snow

    From a hemlock tree

    Has given my heart

    A change of mood

    And saved some part

Of a day I had rued
