    How to fight boredom?

     Hi, my name is Natalia Błońska and I’m from Poland.

    This time I’m writing about boredom and how you can rid of it in your life. If you have a hobby, like photography or writing, go and start taking pictures or write a story about some magic creatures and maybe someday you’ll become new J. K. Rowling. But let’s be honest though. Most of us wouldn’t like to spend all of our free time writing or taking pictures because that would become boring someday, and we don’t want our hobbies to become boring. So here are some tips you can use when you feel bored while waiting in a queue or just when you have nothing to do at home.

     

    • Learn something new
    • Read a book
    • Do research about something that you’ve been into for a while ( for example different religions or cultures)

     

    • Put a word „meditation” after boring activity

          This one is a bit funny but it actually might work for you. So, basically after, for example, activity/phrase „ bus waiting” you put word „meditation”. It might make you feel very high-minded and spiritual.

    • Socialize

       Spend more time with you friends or  even try to meet some new people online ( of course, be careful about it, and don’t talk to creeps)

    • Start a journal

        Write in it what exciting happened lately or just use it as a sketchbook.

     

    • Visit places

         This one is actually more useful when you have more free time. When you feel bored, just go to a nice park or visit an interesting museum.

     

    • Think about what you actually want to do

         Boredom might be sometimes caused by lack of directions. You can spend a few minutes thinking about what you actually want to do or try to identify your goals and desires.

    Your Character by Colours

    Hello, I'm Laurynas from Lithuania and I will try to describe your character by choosing your favourite and unfavourite colours. What you need to do is to choose two colours one that you like and another that you dislike.

    Black Purple Red Yellow Green Blue

    Yellow
    Like – You look into the future. You are bored with the daily routine.
    You want changes in your life
    Dislike – You are depressed or lonely, you are angry at the moment.
    Green
    Like – You’ve got a good memory and you can control your emotions.
    You like to be praised.
    Dislike – You are in a position in which you can’t change anything.
    You don’t have stamina for that.
    Red
    Like – You are an active person. You try to do as much as possible in
    life. You have an impact on people around you.
    Dislike – You don’t like to be active, you always try to change or correct
    something. Most of the time you are in anguish.
    Purple
    Like – You are friendly. Like talking to people. You like romance.
    Dislike – You are too emotional and because of that you get problems
    and discomfort. You like to be organized.
    Blue
    Like – You like peace and quiet. You prefer when other people tell you
    what to do.
    Dislike – You always want to stay active, rarely feel tired. It is hard
    for you to trust others and to communicate.
    Black
    Like – You like to protest, cause havoc. You think that everything
    around you is awful, wrong. You do not accept criticism.
    Dislike – You feel that there are plenty of obstacles that can mess up
    your plans and hopes. You try to look for a solution.
