Meeting in Djakovo, Croatia
Ekonomska škoola braća Radić is a host of second studnts' and teachers' meetingof the project Working in Europe – skills for success. Participants will come from France, Germany, Spain, Romania and Bulgaria and together with our students and teachers will take place in activities to develop enterpreneurial sklls necessary for gaining success. they will discover which skills are in questions through intervies and meeting with company local company owners and enterpreneurs in Đakovo. The guests and their hosts will visit companies Hemco, Mlaco, Ancona, Crnovcommerce, The Djakovo wines, Meteor and the farm Grube Potnjani which are our school's partners in the project.
On the first day of the meeting the the group was received by the mayor of Đakovo Mr. Zoran Viković in the town hall and by the archbishop Msgr. Đuro Hranić in the premisesof the Đakovo diocese.
Our guests also have opportunity to see interesting places in our town such as the Đakovo cathedral, Catholic faculty of theology and its library, State stud farm Đakovo where they watched very interesting performance of horse dancing, the church of All Saints, but they will also have a chance to visit Kopački rit, Osijek and the castle of the family Pejačević in Našice.
The students will do the tasks planned by the project in the forms of workshops of mixed groups coordinated and mentored by teachers Jelica Paradžik Lazarevič and Zlata Hrženjak, while our guest teacher will attend the lessons of their Croatian colleagues and compare and discuss differencesin curriculum and teaching methods.
The last day of the mobility will coincide with the Open Door Day in our school, so the guests will take part in different workshops , attend Training Firm Fair and participate in sport activities. The day will be accomplished by the farewell party and delivery of certificats.
