Learning Activity C4

  • Learning activity (mobility) in Alès - C4 from 4 to 8 April 2022

    Assessment and joint actions

    Objectives:

During the C4 Learning Activity, the students will:
    • The visit to the cities of Alès and Nîmes and the meeting with elected representatives will give our guests the opportunity to measure the economic changes of the city and how far environmental issues have become significant in public opinion.
    • The visit to the Ecole des Mines in Alès and the University of Nîmes where the students will meet researchers and university students whose line of research focuses on the protection of the environment, clean energies, and environmental risks. This will also give the latter the opportunity to present the results of their research and to test their modeling.
    • Learn about Alès and its environmental issues - by visiting the city's historical center and by meeting a representative of an environmental organization (governmental or non-governmental)
    • be engaged to exchange ideas by working in groups.

During these several visits and meetings, resolutely eclectic, our students will be able to create strong links with their twins so as to refine their modelings, work efficiently in collaboration for the presentation of their work, and eventually show their common research to outstanding scientists.

Participants: 10 students accompanied by 2 teachers from each partner school.
