    Cultural place to visit : children visit the old houses or places with their parents and take a photo.

    Getting to know the stories of each partner country and literature around the world that are related to the Home ( The Three Little Pigs and the Wolf , etc.).

    Making a compost area on school grounds for the leaves , fruit wastes consumed at recess which decompose and thus help develop good soil gardening .

    Minutes – London Meeting June 2016

    1. Organisation of the meeting

    3. Intellectual outputs

    Game

    • Game (Beyza) everything is on twin space – songs, words, items in all languages, mat (PDF versions).

    • Beyza has made stickers for the cubes and brought the game mat and pieces (invoices for payment as well)

    • Looked at the game & Beyza explained the rules: Before playing the game sing the song ‘Welcome to our home/own song in own language’. Dice, you walk through the countries, 6 children have headbands with the flag of the country, if they get a country they get the piece and then place it in the place, then they say the word home in that countries home language. They throw the dice to find the different actions and they complete the ones for that country e.g. where it is? How you say hello etc. If they get it right they get a piece of the tangram and then they build it up. There are videos of the pronunciation on the twin space. At the end they can listen to/sing the songs from the other countries.

    • Before the next visit there needs to be videos of the children playing the game in class.

    • Next year: 6 Questions for next year? Name of the city, Location of the city, 1 important house, 1 landmark, 1 nature (park), 1 water (rivers/sea/bridges), important for the house to have water (Turkey will prepare the dice after the Italy meeting ready for the next visit).

    • People need to bring the items that they want included for their country on the dice to Italy (flash/twinspace)

    CloudHouse

    • We will put the songs in the CloudHouse (Herve is uploading the activities).

    • CloudHouse an intellectual output. Mobiity tool asks about individual country’s intellectual output – hours spent on these. Shall we agree an amount of hours spent?

    • Intellectual outputs are the game, the CloudHouse and the book – you need to check your Erasmus+ proposal and see if you were allocated money for these.

    • Each country just declares to their own countries. Each country has to declare on the mobility tool for mobility’s. Keep the boarding passes for 5 years afterwards. Each agency will give Europass to each of the mobility visitors and the country visited can stamp it to show that they have visited.

    • What should be on it? For Year 1: Game, Book, Stories, Songs, Meeting presentations, Door presentations, Welcome assemblies, Video conferences (photos), Exhibitions, Survey from start of the year.


     

    Book

    • Italy: Very difficult so far to explain to people who don’t understand the project

    • Beyza: Summary - She has broken it down to name of project, project partners, what the 3 years will be like: home, city, Europe. Also the aim to teach children about Erasmus and connecting with other countries.

    • Guide for the teachers? 3 chapters: introduction, main: collection of materials, conclusions: evaluations, see website for the photos (link to the cloud house).

    • In the book we must give reasons as to why we did each activity.

    • Title of the book: Home – House of my Europe - from Erasmus Project Experiences and reflections from 2016-18.

    • It will be in English, French & Italian and the other countries will translate into own language.

    • In Italy Lucia will present with the outline of the book so the partners can agree with it. Lucia will contact the Erasmus leads if she needs more information about any of the activities e.g. why they did it etc.

    5. Presentation from Spain

    • Held a micro story contest for the stories and then a book was created (theme was home same as the project). The book is made up of the winning stories (they won a book). From Grade 1 (six years old) to Grade 6 (10/11 years old).

    • Also a book about different types of houses from different places (e.g. Cave houses, iglu etc). Created by children from Grade 1. These will be in the library in Spain.

    6. Our story

    • Write ages on cover who wrote the story

    • There was an actor who performed the story with videos capturing

    7. Book

    12. Project Activities – Next Year

    13. House and Nature

    • Bring 1 packet of seeds to Italy (plants, vegetables)

    • It will be decided by end of September and this will be exchanged by email so all countries have different seeds.

    14. Next meeting:

    • Take photos and keep a record for twin space of the plants.

    • By end of September decide which seeds you will be taking, let them grow

    • Take photos of the plants and laminate (small size) for the exhibition in London (20th May). On a4 sheet of paper with lots of photos to bring to uk.

    • Video Conferences: Herve would be happy to have more than 1 a year (possible to have them once a term?) Think about this and decide in Italy. Video Conferences not longer than 15/20 minutes.

    • Interim report (2 pages) about the first year of the project: 3 questions Herve has sent them already.

    16. Dates for the next meeting

    • Italy dates still ok (8th-11th Nov)

    • Hotel (25 euro a night with breakfast)/Residence in Italy (Leaflets handed out so schools can choose where they want to stay. If you book Hotel say you are Erasmus group and there is a reduction negotiated.

    • Fly to Nice and then take the train – buy the train ticket at the station (shuttle bus = 6 euro, train = approx 20 euro).

    • Arrive 8th, work 9-10th, 11th am visit/pm free

    • Spain (arrive 22nd, work 23-24th, 25th visit, Grenada on the Saturday and travel back on the Sunday) – Hotel Villa de Laredo, Fuengirola (a different village but we all need to be in this one so we can be picked up). Book it soon as it is a small hotel.

    • England dates 6th-10th (arrive tue, leave sat – same as this time).

    • Hungary dates: 24th – 28th 2017

    • Turkey dates: April (decided in England next year)

    • France: June 2018
