The French Resistance (french: La Résistance) was the collection of French movements that fought against the Nazi German occupation of France and the collaborationist Vichy régime during the Second World War.

ACTIVITY
Phase 1 (national groups)
- Students from each partner country are split into groups according to the following table
- Each national group studies their corresponding texts on French Resistance:
- Text 1: Phoney War (pdf, docx)
- Text 2: Blitzkrieg (pdf, docx)
- Text 3: Armistice and Collaboration (pdf, docx)
- It familiarizes itself with the historical events, highlights keywords / keyphrases, and creates a timeline.
Phase 2 (international groups)
- All groups who studied the same text get together to create a common agreed timeline for their corresponding text.
- Example
- Text 1 "Phoney War" with Eric, Lars, Timo, Martin R., Zuzana, Anastasia, Kemal and Panagiotis.
- Creating of timeline: Type in the date and the information about the event in the respective Google Sheets
