Excursion to Kalavryta

Workshop 1: Guided tour in Kalavryta Museum

• After a calm bus tour to Kalavryta, there was a 2 hour guided tour by an excellent museologist who explained the history of the Kalavryta massacre in an easily understandable English. The students were very attentive. Then all participants climbed the hill to the massacre site and commemorated the victims during a minute of silence.

Workshop 2: Kalavryta today

• The students explored the modern city of Kalavryta taking pictures of sites they thought interesting. The pictures were presented and explained the next day.
