From 25.10.2021 to 27.10.2021 the second staff meeting took place in Braga, Portugal. Two teachers from North Macedonia, two teachers from the Czech Republic and two teachers from Germany met with the two coordinators from Portugal along with other staff members of their school.

After more than one year of the Corona pandemic, cancelled LTTAs and hardly any cooperating project work it was essential to meet again and replan some of the planned activities as well as the pending mobilities to Portugal, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Therefore, this was also the meeting's main goal; next to reviving and deepening the basis of trust formed so far in the course of the project, together with the expansion of the visitors' understanding of Portuguese history and culture. Of course, all participants kept in touch via whatsapp and video chat during the pandemic but these digital ways of communication cannot replace real life communication and interaction.

On Monday, the different teams were warmly welcomed by the local coordinators and students dressed in traditional historic clothing who showed them around the school.

After that there was a meeting with the headmaster before the actual replanning began. The rest of the morning was used for talking about the pending activities, necessary criteria as well as setting due dates for them.

In the afternoon, after lunch, there was a guided tour through the historic city center of Braga.

On Tuesday, the morning was again characterized by project work. This time, the focus lay on agreeing on dates for the upcoming mobilities as well as the planned activities for the LTTA to Portugal. After lunch at a vegetarian restaurant, where everybody agreed that it should also be visited with the students, the UNESCO world heritage site Bom Jesus was visited.

On Wednesday, in the morning, the team also worked on the details for the upcoming activities and criteria for the different products, especially the lifestyle book, as well as on the activities for the pending mobilities to Germany and the Czech Republic.

After that, everybody visited Braga market to decide which tasks the students might do when they come to the market during the LTTA.

In the afternoon, the meeting was concluded with a farewell lunch.

As a result of the meeting, a revised timetable was created and shared with all the participants. It can be found on our etwinning page under files.
